We are looking for a Home & Property Owners Specialist to join our team!

 

You Will:

  • Respond to underwriting inquiries regarding our product and service offerings.
  • Underwrite quotes, issue policies, amendments, and renewals in line with current underwriting guidelines and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with intermediaries.
  • Lead efforts to deliver exceptional service to drive growth for both products.
  • Cross-sell additional products where relevant.
  • Provide regular feedback to the Head of Business Relations (HBR) regarding performance, complaints, or issues from intermediaries or policyholders, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
  • Meet with intermediaries as needed to promote and encourage product adoption.
  • Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and deliver product and system training to intermediaries when necessary.
  • Manage binders and produce performance reports as requested by management.
  • Assist the Compliance Officer and management in the audit processes for these products.

Requirements:

  • Full-time commitment is required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates willing to pursue CII studies.
  • A minimum of one year’s experience in insurance is essential, preferably in non-motor underwriting or claims. Product-specific training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in IT systems and excellent written communication skills are a must.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience working with MS Office applications are required.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, meet clear targets, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • The candidate will be expected to regularly meet with brokers and tied insurance intermediaries (TIIs).
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
